Lazy Sunday

We stayed in all day long today. It was nice to be lazy. I made some pumpkin brownies, which didn't turn out that great, but they were edible. We watched a movie and ate some leftovers, and just vegged out all day.

Speaking of making brownies...I have another blog for cooking. I'm having a hard time posting to it for some reason. This one is fine...that one can't get it's act together. I'm a novice and new to blogger. I used to use Wordpress and I never had a problem with my blog there...so I might switch over for the cooking blog again. We'll see. I'm getting very frustrated with this though.

So this movie we watched, There Will Be Blood...well, I liked it fine until it was over and I realized it wasn't finished enough for me. It was an interesting story, but I was left disappointed. I won't say anymore because I don't want to spoil anything. I will say the music left me feeling creeped out while watching. *shudder* There's something awesome about how music can create feelings like that. That's about as much as you'll ever hear me talk about music and feelings. I'm not a music person in the slightest.

So now I've got the laptop on my lap as well as a dog. And those of you that know my dog know that he's not small enough to fit in my lap, especially with a laptop there too. But he's being all cute and cuddly and laying his head as much on me as possible.

And when I put away the computer, I'll be reading The Confession by Beverly Lewis (the second book in the Heritage of Lancaster County series). It's about an Amish girl and her life. I'm liking it and I'm looking forward to finishing out the series so I can find out what happens.

If you'd like, you can check out my GoodReads profile and see what else is going on in my book world.

And with that, I bid you adieu.

You'll do fine here. You just need to find your voice. Then you need to find a way to get it heard.
