I only did one deal at Walgreens this week. The Right Guard deodorant was buy one get one free and I had four $3 off 2 coupons. They were priced at $3.99 each, and I ended up getting 8 sticks for $3.96 after tax - that's cheaper than the price of one stick!
Kroger had the "Add Up the Savings" Mega Deal this week (buy 8 participating items, get $4 off). Here's what I did:
These are part of the Mega Deal
-2 boxes of Cheerios - $1.48 each, $1 off 2 coupon, $0.55 Cellfire e-coupon = $0.71 each
-Sunny Delight - $0.78, $0.25 off coupon (tripled to $0.75 off) = $0.03
-2 Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis - $1.49 each, (2) $0.50 off coupons (doubled to $1 off), $0.50 Cellfire e-coupon, $0.50 Shortcuts e-coupon = FREE with $0.02 overage
-Powerade - $0.50
-2 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers - $1.38 each, (2) $0.50 off coupons (doubled to $1 off) = $0.38 each
These are not part of the Mega Deal
-Purex laundry detergent - $1.99, $0.35 off coupon (tripled to $1.05 off) = $0.94
-Pioneer pancake mix - $1.69, $0.35 off coupon (tripled to $1.05 off) = $0.64
Only $4.22 for all of this! Without sales and coupons, this would have all cost $23.98. My receipt said I saved 82%!

Other than just using coupons.for things we needed, the only real deal I got this week was.finding 3 jugs of Seventh Generation free & clear laundry detergent in the Kroger clearance section for $5.49 each.
