After a week at Grand-Mum's house, Kosmo is back home and as wild as ever. I've missed him! His Grand-Mum loved having him. She says he's been so good for her. She took him for a walk every morning and more and played and petted and loved. She told me today that she lost SIX pounds just by playing with him and walking him this week. WOWZA! He's already going back in a couple of weekends when the hubby and I travel over to San Antonio to see my girl Lara.
Today was a nice leisurely day. Mom and I took a trip to the grocery store together, which we never do. It was fun! And we had lunch at Taco Cabana. I've had a craving for cheese enchiladas since El Rey messed up my order the other night. If you know me AT ALL you may want to take a seat for this next thing I'm about to say. I'll give you a second. Take a deep breath.
I'm kind of over Tex-Mex. *pauses for Earth to return to axis*
It's good, but it doesn't light my fire/hang the moon/make me drool anymore. I don't even know who I am anymore. This does not apply to taco salads & guacamole however, strictly to Mexican restaurant food.
I think I'm getting tired of restaurants in general. I haven't been able to find much super appealing stuff on any menus lately. I mean, I do order stuff, but nothing that I HAVE to have. In fact, when/if we go out, it's usually Chipotle or Jason's Deli (where I get a veggie Burrito Bowl and a salad bar, respectively). I think this is a good thing though. I enjoy going out to eat, so I think now we'll select more unique restaurants where I can choose things I've never had before and really savor the experience.
Switching gears, I'd like to ask for some advice if that's okay. I will be graduating with a Bachelor's degree in mid-December. I have never looked for a job that requires a degree before, and I'm not really sure what to do. How do I go about trying to secure employment when I don't even have the degree yet? Do I explain in the cover letter? What do you suggest? I have about six months, and I really would like to start working asap after graduation. And if anyone knows of anyone in the Houston area that needs an awesome administrative assistant or office manager with lots of experience (and finally a degree), please let me know! ;)

I job hunted during my last quarter of school and it was tough. I'd go with including it in your cover letter as well as putting it on your resume with a projected graduation date.

On your resume where you have the "education" section, just put your degree with the date "June 2009," or whenever you are graduating. Then the information is there without you having to explain it :) At least that is what I was told to do when I was in that boat!
