Baby Ribbon Blankie, part 2

All finished! I'm actually not very pleased with the results. I used the wrong kind of batting and there are a few flaws. Oh well, practice makes perfect, and the baby will not really know the difference.

To finish up, pin the ribbon facing in towards the center of the blanket:




Then, cut the minky and the batting to the size of the top. Place the minky and the top right sides together and pin (at the seams) to the batting:




Then sew around the whole blanket, leaving about 5 inches at the end so that you have enough room to stick your arm in there and flip the whole thing right side out. Then close the seam. Here's the finished product!
