"Joy of Cooking" Cooking School - Beer, Cheese, and Scallion Bread pg 629

I learned something very important from this recipe in Joy of Cooking.

It's pretty straightforward - mix the dry ingredients together, add in the beer, then bake.

So what's the big lesson here? Use ingredients that you LIKE. As in, don't just make something to get rid of that beer that no one liked when your husband and his friends got a bunch of different beers to try.

Beer, Cheese, and Scallion Bread. Looks pretty. Tastes like beer that no one likes.

Lesson learned.
