I'm really excited about my couponing this week. I haven't done it in a while, so I'm all giddy with the thought of saving a ton of money tomorrow at the grocery store. I hope that high never wears off!
Here's a summary of what's on my "coupon list". (A list of things to buy that I have coupons for, I try to plan meals around those things and on sale meat or buy that in bulk).
2 cans of crescent rolls
2 cans of biscuits
2 cans of cinnamon rolls
gallon of oj
carton of Silk soymilk
2 boxes toaster strudel
2 40 ct boxes pizza rolls
laundry detergent
cookie mix
2 boxes of brownie mix
4 boxes of fruit snacks
au gratin potatoes
6 boxes hamburger helper
2 boxes granola bars
2 boxes taco shells
All for only $23.51.
HOLLA! The hubby will be in convenience food heaven. :) That list alone, paired with less-than-$2/lb ground beef (bulk), eggs, bananas, frozen veggies, beans & rice will provide us with at least 2 weeks of breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts (and clean laundry!) for right around $50 (I used to not be able to get out of the store for less than $70 per so that's a $120/month savings right there). And that's just the stuff that I know is on sale based on the ad. There's always much more on sale when you get to the store, and you know I have coupons for it all! LOL
I must say I'm impressed with myself. :D
And I'm also excited about my $50 savings at Kohl's the other day. I got 2 frames, a gardenia reed diffuser, and a cute wall decor thing all for only $17. Before discounts and coupons it would have been $67! Holy cow. My guest room is getting its finishing touches.
