Look what I got!! 
I've been an admirer of photography for a long time now. I've been dying to get my hands on a dSLR. And my time has come. It's a sweet new Nikon D3000.
Now if I could only figure out how to work this contraption.
So pardon me while I read every post on P-Dub's photography site, as well as other forms of internet research. Maybe I can learn how to take a good photo and when I do, I'll share it with y'all. :)

You have to get a neck strap for it! Then you can look like all of the Japanese tourists we always see in Australia!
That is a really nice camera! I'll have to show my husband so he can have camera envy.

LOL it has a neck strap, I just can't seem to get it on there so it feels secure. My luck I'd trust that it was on right and then the camera would end up shattered on the ground.
I haven't even used it a ton yet and I already want a fancy new $200 lens!
